Close To The Beach
Great place to stay while in port Douglas. Close to the beach and all of the things the town has to offer. Mandalay has very nice rooms, heated pool is a very nice touch in the middle of winter. Would definitely come back for another stay.

Gorgeous Apartment
Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic top location in Port Douglas. Loved being so close to beach and town but so peaceful. We had a fabulous stay. Apartment was super spacious and well equipped – very good quality fixtures etc…

Fabulous Location
We loved our stay in Port Douglas and the location was fabulous. We loved the pool and tennis court and our apartment was a very generous size.

Close To The Beach
This is a well placed apartment really close to the beach and an easy walk to Macrossan St. There was an allocated parking space if you hire a car, and there is a shared pool which was pretty busy with kids most of the time. The apartment is well furnished, the kitchen has microwave and full oven/hob but not a great deal of space to store your own provisions. The good quality smart TV meant we could log into our Netfix/Stan/Amazon accounts and the internet was good enough to stream shows without any issues. Being on the top floor and no lift was a challenge for my wife who has rheumatoid arthritis, but in spite of that minor inconvenience we would definitely stay here again. -

Home Away From Home
What can I say about Mandalay 29 it was definitely a home away from home in the tropics. It was lovely to be greeted by Chris with a big smile and Natalie was all so helpful with all her useful information. The Apartment itself has a great layout with a big balcony to read your morning paper, It has all the basics you would have in your own home e.g. tv, cutlery, pots, hair dryer, even has a good washing machine and dryer. The Mandalay is right across the road from the beach and only a short stroll into town. The resort has two great swimming pools and even a tennis court and communal BBQs A thankful shout-out to Sam the receptionist at the Mandalay for always being happy to help out with any information or booking tours. I would definitely recommend this place for the family. -
Spacious apartment for our family with teens. Third floor with no lift access so probably not suitable for younger families but was fine for us. Great location – close to beach and 10 min walk to shops/cafes and marina. Communication with property manager was excellent. Would stay again and recommend to other families.
